UNITED SOCIETIES OF BALKANS (USBNGO) - THESSALONIKI - Greece : United Societies of Balkans (U.S.B.) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation based in Thessaloniki, Greece working in the field of youth, human rights and intercultural dialogue. It was founded in 2008 by the inception of a group of active young people who wanted to address the social issues which affect the youngsters in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. The vision and aim of the organisation is the promotion of youth empowerment, participation in the economic and political life, youth mobility, voluntarism and human rights. In particular, USB attaches great importance to its human resources, as the evolution of the organization is directly related to the evolution of the individuals within. Fields of work: Youth work, non- formal education, human rights, arts, intercultural dialogue, new media, gender related issues, ecology and sports.

ASSOCIACAO CHECK-IN - COOPERACAO E DESENVOLVIMENTO (CHECK-IN) - BEJA - Portugal: Associação Check-IN – Cooperação e Desenvolvimento (Check-IN Association – Cooperation and Development) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2010, based in Beja and also operating from Lisbon, in Portugal. It works in close cooperation with public and private entities, actively participating in quality of life improvement activities. Our organization mainly focuses on youth and adult mobility, non-formal education, cooperation and development of organizations and individuals and the overall sharing of knowledge, through the support of European cooperation initiatives. We work on a regular basis with other organizations, as well as municipalities, universities and higher education institutions in Europe and all around the world (we built partnerships and developed projects in Brazil, Tanzania, Nepal, Argentina,Mexico and Peru). Our aim is to promote lifelong learning opportunities, to encourage and promote social integration, education for sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. Our working methods are deeply rooted in the European core values, such as the respect for human rights, democracy, gender equality, ecological awareness, intercultural tolerance and solidarity between the people.

Asociatia "Centrul pentru Dezvoltarea Instrumentelor Structurale" (CPDIS) - Slatina - Romania: Asociatia CPDIS is a non-profit organization founded in the fall of 2012 with the aim of promoting understanding and cooperation between people. Pursuing this aim, we encourage and promote all those initiatives that, in terms of solidarity and on the cultural-educational field, allow the interchange of ideas among different cultures, favour the easing of economic inbalances and promote the creation of a true culture of universality and peace. Among these actions, there is a reflection on consumerism, interculture and peace with non-formal education methodologies. Our goals are to involve young people into youth people on local, national and international levels, to support youth in creating and implementing their own small- scale community-based projects. CPDIS members had participated in many youth projects in local, national and international level, together with partners our coordinators had implemented youth exchanges and youth trainings.

AC Amics de la Biblioteca de la Fonteta (Amics) - Agres - Spain: We are a non-formal education organization that provides learning opportunities for people in our area (youth, adults, and children). We carry out a variety of activities and also promote mobility programs. We began our activities in 2005 as the result of a Youth in Action initiative by a Scout group. Since then, we have built our local and international network to develop our activities. We consider ourselves experts in non-formal education, youth motivation, youth empowerment, and inclusion. We professionally use games, and more specifically, board games. Since 2017, we have been collaborating with several organizations in the field of diversity and disability, particularly intellectual disabilities. Since then, we have organized Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects. We have also been involved in vocational education projects, providing non-formal education tools to improve the quality of education and also using Online Open Badges.

Coordinator: Education In Progress - Italy: Education In Progress is a non-profit organization operating in the fields of social engagement, European project design, and training of staff from Adult Schools and Migrant Adult Centers in Southern Italy. It provides innovative methods to include learners in society and the labor market. The members of Education In Progress invest their intellectual and creative energy in their territory, which primarily includes the southern regions of Italy—from Campania and Puglia to Sicily—while also establishing connections throughout Europe. The main objective is to support adults who are out of the labor market or have a migrant background, enabling them to take the first and most difficult step toward self-improvement and upskilling pathways. The staff works toward local development in order to raise local standards to European levels.
